Is your office safe to come to in relation to Covid-19?
At Marshall Tax & Financial Services, LLC. we make sure to take every precaution to make sure our clients stay safe and our personell.
We have anti-bacterial hand sanitizer at every desk, including the front office, face masks (although no one is allowed in without a face mask). We wipe down everything once a client leaves so everything is sanitized.

What is E-File?
E-file works in conjunction with the Internal Revenue Service’s (IRS) Electronic Filing System. Taxpayers can e-file from a computer, or by using a tax preparer who is an approved Electronic Return Originator (ERO) such as Marshall Tax & Financial Services, LLC. The state return is transmitted to the IRS along with the federal return.
When the federal return is accepted, an acknowledgment (electronic confirmation) is sent from the IRS.

Why should I electronically file and not just mail my paper return in?

- Security. Your tax return information is encrypted and transmitted over secure lines to ensure confidentiality.

You can contact the IRS directly at 1-800-829-1040 if you have filed a 1040 Form. If you are a business you can call the IRS at 1-800-829-4933.
For Individuals that need to contact the IRS directly you will need to have your name and social security number to help them to resolve any issues that you may have.

How long before I get my refund?
Generally it takes 21 days or less for those who have filed electronically to receive you tax refund. Your federal tax refund can take longer depending how you filed and how long it takes your bank or financial institution to process the tax refund.
